The Sapphire x Llewelyn Ash Collection
Handblown Glass.
Crafted with Purpose.
Inspired by the Ocean.
This limited-edition collection is the result of a heartfelt collaboration between The Sapphire Project and acclaimed Australian glass artist Llewelyn Ash. Each piece is individually handblown, capturing the textures, colours, and fluid energy of the ocean.
The collection features two signature forms:
– A sculptural candela, available in Sapphire Blue and Amber Gold, designed to cast a soft, meditative glow.
– A graceful glass dish, available in two sizes and colourways, shaped with gentle undulations inspired by the ocean’s shifting rhythms.
These are vessels of meaning - objects that reflect both beauty and purpose.
With every purchase, you support vital marine conservation through The Sapphire Project and the Great Barrier Reef Foundation, helping protect Australia’s fragile ocean ecosystems and the communities who care for them.
A tribute to the ocean’s quiet strength and infinite beauty, The Circle of Hope is a handblown glass plate created by artist Llewelyn Ash as part of a limited series for Sapphire.
Each piece is uniquely shaped by hand, no two are alike - with rippling textures and vibrant tones that echo the colours of coral reefs and shifting tides.
Two sizes are available in Sapphire Blue and Amber Gold, the plate reflects the ever-changing nature of the sea: fluid, fragile, and deeply precious.
Whether displayed as an artwork or used as a ceremonial vessel, Ocean’s Embrace invites reflection - a moment to honour what we must protect.
The proceeds from each piece will support Sapphire’s mission to protect and restore our marine ecosystems.
This collaboration is a meeting of art and purpose - a testament to the role creativity plays in shaping a more sustainable future.
