SAPPHIRE DINNER 2025
Together, we raised $1.6 million for ocean conservation at the Sapphire 5th Anniversary Dinner. What made the night unforgettable wasn’t just the impact, but the energy in the room - it felt less like a gala, and more like a gathering of family and friends united by purpose. Over the past five years, we have raised over $5m in support of ocean conservation. Thank you to everyone who stood with us, old friends and new. Small ripples, together, are becoming a wave.

Nothing in Sapphire is random - every element is designed with intention: For our 5th Anniversary Dinner, we opened with a light show set to Jon Hopkins’ Singularity: a track that begins in stillness, builds into explosive chaos, and dissolves back into calm - a sonic circle of balance and unity. A journey that mirrors our times: from fragmentation toward connection, from dissonance into harmony.
In the spirit of less for more, we created impact through efficiency. Only One central truss, three rows of lights pressed tightly together - mimicking the arm of an octopus: fluid, adaptive, alive. A reminder of how the ocean moves and breathes. One bold feature carrying the whole room.
Hopkins once said Singularity is the opposite of separation. We feel deeply drawn to that sentiment, because it echoes Sapphire itself: a family of friends, each ripple joining another, until sound and light become memory, and memory becomes action.
